<h3>What We Do</h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Sharda Group since its inception 25 years ago has played an instrumental role in uplifting and enhancing the social and economic status of the down trodden section of the communities which are located around the main campuses of institutions of Sharda Group.<br /><br />
With the formation of Sharda Welfare Foundation as an exclusive philanthropic division of Sharda Group, the Group would be able to further enhance its wings, enlarge its catchment area and increase the number of welfare activities. This will play an instrumental role in improving and uplifting the health conditions, providing educational opportunities, skill development for employability and most importantly safeguarding the environment through community awareness initiatives.<br /><br />
The Sharda Welfare Foundation has further integrated all the welfare activities which were conducted by the Sharda Group in the field of environmental awareness, healthcare and education into one programme named Aviral.<br /><br />
The whole purpose of Aviral is to strengthen the community development initiatives by the help of some of its collaborative initiatives called Arogya Vahini, Ujjawal, Bharosa, Unnati and Aarohan.
These four collaborative initiatives under Aviral called Arogya Vahini, Ujjawal, Bharosa and Unnati as been putting relentless efforts with its dedicated team of experts from diverse domains in strengthening the community development initiatives.

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The main focus areas of four initiatives are listed below:</strong></p>

<h4>1) Arogya Vahini initiative </h4>

<p style="text-align: justify;"> The biggest challenge that the economic weaker section of the rural societies of our country face is lack of medical knowledge and the poor medical infrastructure.
To address this issue Sharda Welfare Foundation started a programme named Arogya Vahini with a vision to provide the underprivileged communities with the better health care facilities and imparting awareness about healthy living.<br /><br />
Under this initiative Sharda Welfare Foundation has deployed free medical van’s which travels to various villages along with health care workers and Junior Doctors and organizes health camps.
In these health camps the health care workers conducts the health talks to address some health related issues like importance of cleanliness for better health, nutrition, sanitation.
Arogya Vahini initiative also has a provision of the Dentists from the Sharda Dental Hospitals to visits various villages and organizes dental camps and provide dental checkups and spread awareness about of Dental health care.<br /><br />
Under this initiative of Sharda Welfare Foundation the Health care workers and Doctors have been doing regular medical and dental check up’s , imparting the basic knowledge on how to provide instant medial aids at the time of emergency, cure the basic diseases and provide the initial level of treatment to the patients at their doorsteps.
Arogya Vahini initiative of Sharda Welfare Foundation has been able to benefit thousands of people from the economically backward community by providing them with the medical awareness and better medical treatment.
Arogya Vahini initiative of Sharda Welfare Foundation also focuses upon importance of metal awareness, sanitation awareness, prenatal and postnatal care.

<h4>2) Bharosa initiative </h4>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Another challenge that the down trodden weaker section of the society face is lack of knowledge about the judicial system of our country, due to which they often refrain themselves from getting into raising their voice against their legal rights.
To address this issue and for spreading the awareness among the community about the legal services Sharda Welfare Foundation organizes legal aid camps along with their legal experts and lawyers to spread awareness and to address their legal matters and give them expert advise.<br /><br />
Under Bharosa initiative the economically backward communities are provided with the free legal aid services on the issues revolving around child rights, dowry, consumer rights, social schemes and domestic violence.
With this initiative Sharda Welfare Foundation has been able to provide solutions on legal matters to many underprivileged people who were suffering due to lack of legal guidance.
Sharda Welfare Foundation under its Bharosa initiative also has the future plans to start a legal literacy club for the School students located in the rural communities.<br /><br />
Under this initiative of Bharosa initiative the legal experts of Sharda University will visit various schools located in rural areas and spread awareness about various child rights which every child must be aware of like right to education, dowry, building understanding about social issues and make them the change leaders.
These children’s would also be explained the difference between good touch and bad touch, how to safeguard your self-esteem and protect themselves against any kind of sexual abuse.
The goal of this legal literacy club of Bharosa initiative is that through these change leaders more and more schools students could be sensitized about these important legal aids.

<p style="text-align: justify;"> Protecting our environment and making it a better place for our future generations is of paramount importance for all socially active human beings.
Sharda Welfare Foundation firmly believe that environmental protection cannot happen till the time people at the communities are not involved and made a part of this mission.
For active involvement and participation form the communities in protecting the environment from further depleting, Sharda Welfare Foundation has launched Unnati initiative to create Change Leaders both from the community and schools.<br /><br />
These change leaders in complete association with the Sharda Welfare Foundation work in the grassroots level for promoting sustainable life style and environmental protection thereby safeguarding the environment.
They also spread awareness in the community on various environmental issues and also provide a technical solution which reduces the impact of environmental pollution by sensitizing the community about the ill effects and health hazards of pollutants in the environment and also on the future generations.
This initiative of Sharda Welfare Foundation has been able to create hundreds of change leaders who are relentlessly working with the communities, creating awareness about the need of clean and healthy environment, with a vision to further reduce the harmful pollutants to impact our environment.<br /><br />
In the future Unnati will also be forming Unnati Club for community schools for engagement with students and thereby promoting environment protection and making them change leaders.
The purpose of these Unnati clubs is to also spread awareness about scientific temperament and innovation along with environment.
Second part of Unnati praogam is it’s agricultural awareness campaign under which the workers of Sharda Welfare Foundation would be connecting with the farmers of the communities for spreading the awareness to these farmers about ways and means of enhancing the productivity of their crop, educate them about organic farming and ill effects of pesticides. The young farmers would also be encouraged and motivated to become agricultural entrepreneur through proper training, grooming and handholding.

<p style="text-align: justify;"> One of biggest challenge that that the children’s of economically weaker section of the society face is that of lack of proper counseling and mentoring for keeping them mentally, socially and physically healthy.
To address this aspect the Sharda Welfare Foundation has launched Unnati initiative under which the expert counselors and experts visit the villages and provide their expert counseling and advisory services for enhancing the mental, physical and social skills for the children’s of underprivileged communities.<br /><br />
The Sharda Welfare Foundation has tied up with many educational centers in the rural areas where the expert’s counselors actively involve these children’s and train them in fun way through various activities.
The experts develop the mental and physical skills of these down trodden children’s through various activities like painting, sports, dance and music.
These children’s are also provided with various vocational training initiatives for developing their social skills.
Ujjwal initiative has also been conducting various awareness campaigns in the communities and schools on gender sensitization and women empowerment.<br /><br />
The initiative of Sharda Welfare Foundation has been contributing to the society in developing the Social Skills by imparting the various skill development vocational training initiatives.
Apart from all these initiatives , Sharda Welfare Foundation is also connected with communities in Greater Noida through a dedicated Suno Sharda Community Radio for amplification of messages on various welfare activities and spreading awareness on social development issues.
